General
What is My Value Prop (MVP)?
+
MVP is a data-driven sports betting newsletter that identifies mathematical edges across 17 sports and 8 US-legal sportsbooks. We scan every line — moneylines, spreads, totals, and props — strip the vig, calculate fair probabilities, and recommend picks only when a genuine edge exists. No gut feelings, no hype. Just math.
How is this different from other picks services?
+
Three things set us apart. First, full transparency — every pick is tracked publicly on our scoreboard with auto-graded results. No cherry-picking winners. Second, personalization — you choose your sports, teams, bet types, and risk tolerance. Third, math over vibes — every recommendation has a quantified edge percentage and confidence score.
Is this legal?
+
Yes. We sell sports analysis and information — which is completely legal. We only recommend bets at state-licensed, US-legal sportsbooks (FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, ESPN BET, Fanatics, Caesars, BetRivers, Hard Rock). We never recommend offshore or unlicensed books. Sports betting legality varies by state — always check your local laws.
What sports do you cover?
+
17 sports: NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAAB, NCAAF, WNBA, UFC/MMA, EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, MLS, Champions League, Tennis, and Golf. Out-of-season sports are automatically skipped — you only get picks when there are games to bet.
The Picks
How do you find your picks?
+
We pull real-time odds from 8 US-legal books plus sharp reference books like Pinnacle. We remove the vig from each book, calculate a fair probability using a sharp-weighted consensus, then compare each book's price to that fair line. When a book's price implies meaningfully different odds than the true probability, that's an edge — and that becomes a pick.
What's a confidence score?
+
Every pick gets a score from 0 to 100 based on edge size, book agreement, and market conditions. Only picks scoring 65+ make the card. Higher confidence = larger gap between the book's price and fair value. We size bets accordingly: $20 for Official Plays (high confidence) and $10 for Leans (moderate confidence).
What if there are no good picks today?
+
Then we say so. We'd rather send you zero picks than a bad one. If no edges clear our threshold, the newsletter will explain market conditions and note that it's a pass day. Discipline is how you win long-term — and that includes knowing when not to bet.
When do picks get delivered?
+
Two editions daily. The Morning Preview (around 10am ET) covers the day's slate, market analysis, and early leans. The Evening Action edition (around 6pm ET) has final picks with locked-in edges, confidence scores, and exactly where to place each bet. You can choose to receive one or both.

Track Record
How do you track results?
+
Every pick is automatically graded each morning using ESPN's scoreboard API. Results post to our public scoreboard with standardized bet sizing ($20 per Official Play, $10 per Lean) starting from a $1,000 paper bankroll. No manual entry, no selective reporting — just automated, honest tracking.
Do you ever delete losing picks?
+
Never. Every pick — wins and losses — stays on the scoreboard permanently. That's the whole point. If we have a bad night, you'll see it. Credibility is earned through transparency, not by hiding the tape.
