Rewards are milestone-based, not additive. When you hit 10, you receive the free year of Premium — it replaces the earlier milestones rather than stacking on top of them.
Referrals count at the point of paid subscription. If a referred subscriber cancels later, your milestone credit remains. However, abuse or fraudulent signups will be disqualified.
My Value Prop’s Referral Program allows active paying subscribers to earn subscription credits by referring friends to the Service. When someone you refer becomes a paying subscriber, you receive a reward in the form of free subscription time applied to your account.
To participate in the Referral Program, you must: be an active paying subscriber to My Value Prop (trial subscribers are not eligible to earn referral credits, but trial-converted subscribers are); have an account in good standing (no outstanding billing issues or Terms violations); and be 18 years of age or older (21 in applicable jurisdictions).
Your Referral Link: Each eligible subscriber receives a unique personal referral link. This link is available in your newsletter footer and on this page. Your referral slug is assigned automatically at account creation.
Qualifying Referral: A qualifying referral occurs when someone clicks your personal referral link, creates a new My Value Prop account using a valid email address not previously associated with the Service, completes the 7-day free trial period without canceling, and is successfully billed for their first paid subscription month. Referrals to existing subscribers, duplicate accounts, or accounts created using fraudulent information do not qualify. My Value Prop LLC reserves the right to disqualify referrals in cases of suspected fraud or abuse.
Tracking: Referral attribution is tracked via the referral slug in your link. Cookies may be used to attribute conversions. Attribution is valid for 30 days from the initial click.
Reward Structure: Referral rewards are milestone-based:
Free months are applied to your current tier. The referred person receives the standard 7-day free trial — not an extended trial.
Referral Cap: The Referral Program is capped at ten (10) qualifying referrals per calendar year. Referral counts reset on January 1st of each year. There is no lifetime cap — subscribers who continue referring new paid subscribers each year may earn rewards annually.
Credit Application: Referral credits are applied to your next billing cycle after the qualifying referral is confirmed. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be applied to another subscriber’s account. Credits do not stack — they are applied consecutively. Credits expire 12 months after issue.
The following activities are prohibited and may result in disqualification of referrals and/or termination of your account: self-referral (creating additional accounts to refer to yourself); referring using fake, temporary, or duplicate email addresses; posting referral links in paid advertisements without prior written consent from My Value Prop LLC; misrepresenting the Service when sharing your referral link; using bots, scripts, or automated tools to generate referral clicks; and offering incentives to referred parties beyond what is described in these terms.
My Value Prop LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time with 14 days’ notice to active participants. Earned credits that have already been applied to accounts are not affected by program termination. Pending credits (referrals in the 30-day attribution window) may be forfeited if the program is terminated, at our discretion.
The Referral Program is subject to My Value Prop LLC’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Participation constitutes your agreement to these Referral Program Terms. In the event of any conflict between these Referral Program Terms and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions govern.
